The contract was awarded to a consortium led by STARC4SYS S.R.L. in team with STIMPEX S.A., having as subcontractors: ISBC, Hinode Car Expert S.R.L. and Motors Management S.R.L.
Mobile communications platform to ensure information flow in areas affected by calamities and natural disasters.
The communications platform ensures travel to hard-to-reach areas, in order to retransmit some communications services to other areas of interest, where the permanent communications infrastructure is not available.
The characteristics of the platform are represented by the qualitative, technical and performance level, operational safety, as well as ensuring a quick and efficient response to emergencies, disasters and HILP (High Impact Low Probability) events.
The vehicle integrates satellite communications equipment in Ku band, point-to-point system in NLOS technology, communications in GSM standard, minimum 3G, as well as a professional wi-fi access point system.
